Questions

What is Discord permission integer 8?
Administrator is the 0x8 bit, so 8 is the permissions integer for Administrator on its own. In a bot invite link, permissions=8 asks for Administrator.
Does Administrator override channel permissions?
Yes. Discord skips channel overwrites for a member whose base permissions include Administrator, so a channel cannot restrict them.
Should my bot have Administrator?
Usually not. Give a bot the specific permissions its commands need, so a bug or a leaked token can do less damage.
What is the integer value of Administrator?
Administrator is bit 0x8, so its permissions integer is 8 when it is the only permission selected. To combine permissions, add their integers together (or OR their bits).
Does Administrator need two-factor authentication?
On servers with server-wide 2FA enabled, the owner's account must use two-factor authentication before this permission works.
